Features Teflon® Heat Exchanger has been first developed by Du Pont Company in 1960s, making the most of excellent feature of Teflon®; namely its high corrosion resistance, high contamination resistance and high durability. Since its introduction into Japanese Market in 1968, Teflon® Heat Exchanger has been serving for various applications in various industries mainly as heater, cooler, evaporator, and condenser for corrosive liquid, instead of Metal, Carbon Graphite, and Glass Heat Exchangers. Also in 1982, new material, Q-tubing (Teflon® PFA +filler) has been developed. Its thermal conductivity is twice as high as Teflon® resin, and mechanical strength, thermal and pressure resistance are greatly improved. We have commercialized its heat transfer tube with its coefficient of heat transfer enhanced by 30“-60“. Furthermore, in 1983, we have commercialized "Q-tubing" modular type heat exchanger as heater, mainly for pickling line and plating line of steel industry. Since then, we have widely obtained both our installation records and customers' reputation. Teflon® is a registered trademark of Du Pont Company. Inquiry |
